Check engine oil level

After you have allowed your vehicle’s engine to cool down, locate the oil dipstick. Pull it out and wipe it clean, then push it all the way back in again. After a moment pull it out again. If the oil is at the higher level, all is OK. If it’s between the middle to lower level, your oil needs to be topped up. Or your vehicle may be overdue for a service.

Checking the coolant level
